My opinions are my own, obvs.
I need someone to explain to me how my Sunday evening turned into drinking palomas while watching (and performing) the singalong version of K-Pop Demon Hunters.

DropoutTV’s Play It By Ear scratches an itch I didn’t know I had. Improvised Broadway-style musicals? Yes, please.

I was watching The Rookie with my 17yo tonight (it’s become “our” show), and something pissed me off royally.

Grey thought Lucy and Tim were having a relationship, and he shouted at Lucy, “He’s your supervisor!”

Dude. Point that energy 180 degrees. Yell at the one abusing their power.

Rage posting on LinkedIn just isn’t as much fun as doing it on the bird site. I’ll never forgive you, Elon.

It is not hard to imagine a future where AI generates a ton of business artifacts, which AI then consumes, in an endless loop that chews up resources while producing nothing. Destruction in pursuit of productivity.

Theatre Review: ‘Young John Lewis’ is the ‘Hamilton’ of Atlanta’s civil rights history
Seeing the world premiere of “Young John Lewis” at Theatrical Outfit feels like being on the precipice of something big; you know that a couple of years down the line, you’ll be bragging that you saw it before it was on Broadway. The musical, with book and lyrics by Psalmayene 24 and music by Eugene H. Russell IV, has the potential to become the next “Hamilton," but instead of taking inspiration from hip-hop to make colorblind the racist foundation of America, “Young John Lewis” utilizes the genre to face the realities of race in America head-on.

“nihilocracy”

I hate how accurate that is.
We need a new term for what is happening under Trump and with the Republican Party. They are mindlessly blowing up government and government services not to save money but to destroy. It’s nihilism mixed with autocracy. Call it nihilocracy.

Shitty art is still art.

As a lifelong art lover, a deeply creative person, and someone who has never felt worthy of the title of “artist,” I am trying to embrace this.
