Maybe it’d be helpful to have the bot give you the option to ask to speak to a person / help submit a ticket. And for the record, I am a premium plus user lol. But I work a fair bit with software like GPT & understand how it works. And sure - there should be AI limitations. But jfc it’s a chatbot.

There also is a factor of feeling judged or dumb when you don’t understand something in a game that many have been on for a couple decades - and having something a new resident can ask “dumb” feeling questions to, or repetitive ones haha - that’s where I find AI can be helpful.

A lot of new players, especially those that are less tech savvy and/or grew up with different types of UIs than many of us did - it FEELS way more complicated than it really is.

And you can try to get some help online, but they’re dated tutorials or grouped into a 20 min blog.

And in-game help is great (aside from the onslaught of creeps lol) but players have to GET that far to find those groups / residents.

In fact - perhaps have the bot know a database of great learning / help communities and if it’s a complicated question - “Hm, I’m not sure, but X group may! 🔗🔗)

I think a lot of the people here so against AI may be exclusively long-timers (and may not have a full understanding of how chat-based AIs work).

I’m a big fan of anything that will help increase user retention & think something like this is worth trying. The initial learning curve is the hardest

5.) I keep seeing things like “for LaraX” or “Legacy” bodies - what does that mean?
*(Ex: I know at first I thought maitreya in an item description meant it would always fit LaraX)

3.) I keep finding the same item in my inventory over and over, why? - AKA - When is it safe to delete a “boxed” item?
*(I’d probably have the bot comment about backups / deleting demos etc here too)

4.) What does no mod / copy / transfer mean?

As a new(er) player, these were some questions I would have likely asked a HelpBot in my first weeks;

1.) What is an alpha layer? Why do I need it?

2.) Why did this set of clothes come with multiple alphas - what do I use? Do I use all of them?
