DHS includes the Asylum and Immigration Benefits wing as well. Restructure sure, maybe even create seperate agencies that don’t all fall under one umbrella, but DHS is huge and has so many public services it doesn’t really make sense to say make it disappear. Pre-Trump it wasn’t sadistic.
