Found one photo from the ren faire without my face! This little boy was too precious—he tapped my arm and got too nervous to say hi the first time he approached, so he just shouted “I love Link!” and ran away 😭 He found me again though later on with his mom to show me his sword ☺️💞

Bluesky is less terrifying than Twitter and I wasn’t even recognizable to people who know me irl anyway, so Bluesky can have a single photo of me as (tired and borderline having a heatstroke) Link—such a fun experience though! 🥰

I completely wrecked my wrist at work and then got called-in to work some more through the injury on my day-off, but despite everything I was able to get a friend to help me hobble a giant box up my stairs to finally piece together this lovely Zelda statue 🥰

Skyward Sword soundtrack on Nintendo Music 💞💞🎶 I used to have this playing in my room 24/7 from the CD that came with the collector’s edition 🥰

Slight deviation from my usual Zelda stuff—I’ve been playing through LOK: Soul Reaver’s remaster and I can’t stop thinking about this goofy transition scene; in the midst of this serious, dark, gothic fantasy setting they have their protagonist flittering away like an escaped ballon 😭🎈

I think OOT was especially good at personally impacting the player! It ends with everything returning to normal and Link’s second chance at childhood, but nothing can ever truly be “normal” again. There is a level of maturity that wasn’t there before, and I think that is true for the player too!
