One in every 30 Australians has a license and the average licensee 4-5 guns. .13 guns per person but it’s primarily a tiny portion of the population with all the guns. “Basically aren’t allowed” accurately describes that if your point of comparison is the US. Still enough to allow this to happen.

Yes, because compared to America, guns basically aren’t allowed in Australia. It’s not a right, it’s a privilege and luxury of the wealthy and those with enough time to jump through the hoops. It’s nothing like the United States, even if you compare it to Jersey or Maryland.

I agree with you, but it’s important to stress that “gun rights” in Australia don’t resemble US gun rights even remotely. Everything from who can own, to hoops you have to jump through, to the types of guns you can have is significantly different, even if you compare the most restrictive US states.

I generally find bushido both barbaric and degenerate, but the way so many politicians conduct themselves these days makes me fully appreciate why they thought ritual suicide was the only way of recovering your honor in some situations 😅

I’m 100% ok with any of them that supported Trump being deported, and if they were involved in the fraud schemes they should go to jail for a long time and then be deported.

You’re allowed to shoot people on land that are fleeing, the rules are different at sea. This information is not hard to get, they teach it to all Officers in basic. It’s embarrassing he doesn’t know it, or he does and he’s lying to protect Trump.

It’s incredibly unlikely there will be any legal justice for any of this, Democrats, *almost* to their credit, are not ruthless enough to do what has to be done even if we ever have them the margins to do it. This will be a movie with the unsatisfying ending that the bad guys get away with it.

It’s important to remember that a lot of people who will get hurt by this didn’t vote or voted for it.
