I was at Ashford also, (sadly!?😃) front of queue which surprised me (normally at least 2 or 3 keener than me!). Reasonable turnout though. Hope you got what you were after.

Kneecap were great in Woodsies last year, no mean feat to get a mosh pit going before noon😃

Just caught up on the pods, great stuff & enjoyed the @theglastothingy.bsky.social one. Was suffering fomo after loving last yr but, partly inspired by the pod, got a volunteer spot last wk. Will be a diff festival but am excited for the experience & just being there again irrespective of who see.

Am not sure it's good for the mind tbh. Too much festering & thinking time!

Just looked back and it was this, at what turned out to be one of my favourite spots of all (started there on the Weds and finished there in the early hours on Mon morning).

Haha, to be neutral listed in the order they came on stage. Suede were superb tbf, one of the best live acts around.

Not controversial to me (as much I like the Stone Roses, it is really juat one album & for me the Happy Mondays were the band that really captured my imagination at that time).

Yeah really enjoyed it & Woodsies perfect for them. I went to James while my wife was at Shania. I went to the latter for a bit after but couldn't get to my wife & Allvays was on my list so mssg to say would meet her at Avril & that proved impossible too - we did eventually regroup in Soltice bar😃

It's mental isn't it & getting worse. For a cynic like me it's actually deterring me from buying rather than the desire effect!
