I don't suppose you've had any luck?

I also unchecked the "Turn on optional connected experiences" box to no avail, and I don't have a Copilot tab under settings. The guidance for turning off Copilot is so useless I'm searching old Bluesky posts.

Had this exact thought the other day. JOMC 153 in the bowels of Carroll Hall. It was 50 points off for misspelling any proper noun, not to mention all the little traps like stationary/stationery or comprise/compose.

Made you damn sure to double-check everything. Bring back consequences!

Maybe an ivy cap with earflaps? Something with a nice herringbone pattern.

Not my field, but I love getting a peek at this world through your posts.

Q from a layperson: do translations ever throw up a word cloud to gesture at the imprecision of a concept like that? You said an editor would never allow it, but I feel like it does convey "the words mean roughly all this..."

This is also great news, but for one confused, exciting moment, I misread the collaborating musician as "John Cage."

Really either way I'll buy this.

Liking the post but not "liking" the post. Having grants revoked these days means you're doing important, laudable work.

In North Carolina right now the Democrat running for Senate - in a state Trump won *three times* (I hate it too) - is leading by 6-8 points.

'Oh, but they'll cancel elections' - then force them to cancel elections and radicalize the normies and then march with the radicalized normies.

Part of me was like, "Chug it!"

But we're not Fremen, man. Okay to water the plants with this batch.

I taught an environmental ethics writing course this summer, and I was shocked at how ubiquitous AI has become even since last year.

The silver lining: one of the TAs said that the experience of reading the same flat essay over and over again dissuaded them from using AI going forward.

There's undoubtedly some weird subtext here, but for me the kicker is placing the word news in scare quotes. The outlets in this screenshot are pretty well established, mainstream sites?
