@clairelamman.bsky.social does something similar for her astrophysics papers (cmlamman.github.io/paper_summar...) and has started a collection of others who do the same. Not exactly what you were talking about, but I love the way she manages to make astrophysics far more accessible to people!

If it makes you feel better, I know quite a few programming languages and can’t seem to get an actual language to stick. I know a few people who have had success learning from story based tutorials like this: mystery.knightlab.com
