TIL the #SC24 logo has a hidden peach visible (look at the negative space of the logo in the center!)
The SC24 conference logo is presented with various colors making a “wheel” of feathers rotating counter-clockwise. It vaguely resembles a curled-up phoenix such that the head and the tail are near each other. This encapsulation creates a negative white space that has a rough outlined shape of a peach 🍑. The logo is significant in three ways: 1. The theme of the conference “HPC creates” aligns with the logo theme of a phoenix 🐦‍🔥 2. The color selection aligns with the phoenix 3. The negative space of the logo revealing a peach aligns with the host city of Atlanta, Georgia in the United States. Georgia is known as the peach state.
