This is the soul of authoritarianism. The Loomers and Pools of the world are calling for violence and the elimination of our civil government.

I can’t believe this is real! It’s like the worst caricature of how the right says Soros does politics.
In a video posted by Elon Musk’s PAC, a $1M check recipient linked voting to receiving the money:

“My name’s Ekaterina Deistler. …I did exactly what Elon Musk told everyone to do: sign the petition, refer friends and family, vote, and now I have a million dollars.”

one thing democrats do need to do, if they aren’t already, is to build an infrastructure to respond to the inevitable attempt to nullify the results of the midterms

You know it’s bad when the WSJ has to tiptoe around calling Trump a wannabe dictator.

This is why the left loses, continues to to lose and can’t stop losing. Hysterical purity policing. We have to move past it.

Unfortunately, Harvard and the other Ivys did not “make a vigorous defense of higher education and principles of free speech and democracy” when it was under attack by the illiberal left. My guess is they can’t do it now bc their leaders still don’t really support free speech.

Yes.
So, if Musk is correct and X is under massive attack from Ukraine, then there's only one course of action... Musk must immediately cede half of X's assets to Ukraine and apologize for allowing themselves to be attacked. Then, make sure he says "thank you!"

Here comes the grift! Step 1) destabilize people lives and make them fear for their finances, 2) hold out the hope of a precious metal that magically (re)stores value. x.com/mattgaetz/st...

Elon is not a genius, he’s an ego maniac. His one true talent is bullshitting rich VCs to get them to fund his sci-fi dreams. Now the mask is off. He is officially the most dangerous man in the world.

The first priority should be for people to get elected to their local election boards. Volunteer at the polls. Pass state laws to ensure fair elections. Stand up to election deniers and nihilists.

Bill Kristol is a true conservative, in this case conserving classical liberal values. TBH, I don’t hate it.
One thing that’s become absolutely clear:

The Trump administration isn’t isolationist. It meddles on behalf of authoritarians all over the world.

Or to put it another way:

The Trump administration isn’t America First. It’s Authoritarianism First.

elon musk, whose compensation is $56B, hasn't shown up for work at tesla since at least november. the stock has fallen by a third in the last month. if it loses another ~$65, the company could go under. you would think the board would call an emergency meeting to replace him as ceo.
