Look, I went into the sunlight today!

My blue eyes are sort of squinting against the sunlight behind purple-framed glasses, I have a flop of purple hair on top with brown roots and the sides are grown out more than I'd like them to be, I have a dark brown beard that the sun is bringing out blond highlights in, and my mouth is turned up in the semblance of a grin. I have a nose ring, eyebrow piercing, and am wearing a black shirt.

Look at this cute little copy of Pride and Prejudice I found!
A hardcover copy of Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen. There is no dust jacket, and book binding is an almost highlighter yellow. Dark blue filigree within a rectangle populates most of the cover, with the center being a circle of vines and leaves around the title and author name.

I made homemade turkey chili for the first time (that didn't come from a premixed bag of beans and seasonings) and this shit SLAPS

My first Storygraph wrapped! (Pages and hours are wrong due to importing from Goodreads. I manually changed all my past books to audiobooks but I guess it didn't change the data. Everything should be audio.)
My 2024 Storygraph wrap-up. I read 45 books this year. My first book was We Could Be So Good by Cat Sebastian, my last was Somewhere Beyond the Sea by TJ Klune. My longest book was Wind and Truth by Brandon Sanderson, my shortest was Bartleby the Scrivener by Herman Melville. My top genres were Fantasy, LGBTQIA+, Romance, Horror, and Mystery. My top authors were Anne Rice, TJ Klune, and Ben Alderson. Some of my 5 star reads are We Could Be So Good by Cat Sebastian, Deadbeat Druid by David R. Slayton, and Reforged by Seth Haddon. My average rating was 4.65 stars.

Our guests have gone home, and I am exhausted! We had four of my partner's best friends over (two not pictured below, we never got a full group pic) for a grown up sleepover this weekend, and it was an absolute blast! I love how readily they've accepted me into their group! #WoTSelfieSunday

We're hosting bf's friend group at our apartment for the first time and his friend Connie brought presents for everyone, including me, and the one she got me literally made me cry. I've wanted this so badly! #DragonAge

Meet my Rook, the Elven Mage Veil Jumper, Mahanon Aldwir. Male, they/them, voiced by Erika Ishii in the low register.
