@thelensofdan.bsky.social Dude, my beloved #fujifilmXT3 died last weekend at tail end of shooting high school football championship in Chapel Hill. Shutter curtain closed, won't reopen. I imagine I well exceeded the shutter actuations mark for that camera.

While getting my teeth cleaned today at the dentist's, I overheard two employees professing their love for Trump and one said something about ".... they eat babies." When the hygienist gouged my gums with her dental picks, it was less painful than overhearing that conversation.

I'm trying to recall a similar incident that occurred in the United States in the last decade.
