Fascinating—during the Guif War, we
Listened to mostly Viet Nam era music—even Armed Forces Radio, when it finally went on the air in Iraq, played almost nothing but that as well. It’s the music of war to folks like me (commissioned in 1973).

Either this is a terrible mistake on the part of an out of control UCE agent, or the school board’s background check was perfunctory.

I see the acting director of the IRS resigned after this.

My mom never made it, but my mother in law did. I found out a few years ago that there are many different kinds of paprika

AOC: you need to tell folks there’s no statutory basis for this kind of buyout, so no authority for Treasury to pay them. Please speak out more in the illegality of this.

I wonder if those children are home schooled. I've had several in class, most good students, but this is concerning.

Interesting--this morning, the P-D pointed out that Kansas City, which got more snow than we did, dug itself out in two days. They were making the point that the city government there has a manager rather than mayoral or council direct control over city services.

That’s certainly what the Branagh film version suggests.

I always found myself in the same boat over Christmas. Glad the semester was over and grades submitted, student complaints dealt with, but also thinking almost exclusively about what changes I would make for the next semester. I think it’s a natural state if , like you, you’re a dedicated teacher.
