Time to build the bikes for CycleHouston.
An excellent charity dedicated to providing bikes to 2nd graders to encourage reading.

With this you have no excuse.
Plus bourbon pecan all the way.

Ron, not to justify Trump's behavior, but if you look at market price of gasoline, this is the price leaving the refineries, before you add in taxes, transportation, and distribution costs, yes they are down to $2. But you and I will never pay that price.

Sure starting to look like a plateauing.
September 19, 2025 at 6:33 PM
Wonder why you haven't heard any more "drill, baby, drill". It's because the Oil & Gas people are now talking shale plateau followed by decline.
Not sure what is going on? Look up Hubbert's Peak on Wikipedia, we have been here before.

Apologies on the grammar and Fitch was 2023 and Standard and Poors was 2011 during Obama.
The point is the national debt has been by both parties and that is the core issue. Yes Trump is the trigger, but both parties created the debt bomb.

Any comment on the 2012 lowering by Fitch during Obama’s term?
Apologies for the grammar in the original post.
My point is this isn’t a Trump thing it is a national debt thing which both parties have done.

Now do how much debt they ran up. Both parties have failed us @georgetakei.bsky.social

I didn’t stress enough why this is a big deal. EIA’s latest report shows a US domestic production peaking in 2027 and then going into decline. The 2023 report showed the exact opposite, a flat production going to 2050. It’s a huge change.

Enjoyed presenting my book “Fixing America” to the Texas Realtors meeting n Austin, Texas. Love their interest in a purple solution and enjoyed the standing ovation I got after my presentation. Really enjoyed Dr Ray Perryman’s presentation as well.

Your comparing Trumps debt to the debt when he took office. When you add in Biden’s debt its about 23%.
This is the real picture. 50% during Republican presidents and 50% during Democrats.

To put what Trump and Musk are doing in context. No oil company would hand the software keys of its oil platform safety systems to anyone. Period.

“Move fast and break things” works for social media software, but not for critical things where people’s lives depend on it.
February 6, 2025 at 2:30 PM
Save your money, the whole reason they post that is they can’t talk about the hard policy choices like a national debt of $36 trillion equally to blame on both Republicans and Democrats.

@hcrichardson.bsky.social @virginiahall32.bsky.social This one is a little more accurate and the overall split is 50/50 R vs D. #fixingamerica

So Trump’s desire to rename the Gulf of Mexico triggered me and I need to explain why. I’m an engineer and in the 1990s was doing a project in the Gulf, a large oil/gas development. When they drilled the initial oil wells there was a problem and they needed to move the project over 3 miles. 🧵1

Internet for the win. Been struggling with the phone charging and thought I was going to need to replace it. Quick Internet search and found mention of lint in the charging port. Dug out a lot of lint with a paper clip and voila everything works.

The CYCLE Houston week of building bikes was capped off today when I passed out bikes at Terrace Elementary in Spring Branch ISD. Thanks to Brenda Avalos & principal Hayley Davis at the school.

Now pardon me as I go soak in a hot tub, having proved I am totally unfit for manual labor.

That chart is up to 2913 and projected afterwards. This is more up today and shows the COVID spike.

In the 19 states that voted for Harris by more than 4%, we see a massive drop in voting. A drop of over 4 million less votes than in 2020. It was a 4.7 million drop for Harris and a half a million increase for Trump. This produced a red shift in the victory margins. /5
