It's a very consistent finding over a long time. What's really interesting to me is that in Canada - which is seen as a warning of the kind of slippery slope this policy can lead to - public support is still this high.

No one in the current PLP would have been selected had they supported Corbyn the way Prescott did. Faiza Shaheen is a case in point. I don’t think you are fully cognisant of how much the current Labour Right hates the left
