Clinging to Brexit is madness. I think one of Starmer's problems, apart from his willingness to don the clothes of the right wing, is he's unable to sanction another Brexit vote while continuing to deny another Scottish Independence referendum.

If there's ever a film about Trump's life it would only take one actor to play the roles of Infantino and Stormy Daniels.

Me too. Also, every bluenose I know voted Yes in 2014.

I just wonder what DOGE is making of the Globemaster flights in to Aberdeen (four that I've seen so far) the USAF is making so a government employee can play golf.

Sometimes it just sits wrong and has to be rearranged. It can be done discreetly. Are you being too attentive, maybe?

We enjoyed it.

The one you never hear of would be fine, wouldn't she? (I'm not up-to-date with the Trump soap opera so I don't know the character names.)

What's he doing? Exactly what he's told to do by the London office.

When we in Scotland speak of a democratic deficit, this demonstrates it perfectly. Anas Sarwar is the silencing of the Scottish people in human form.

"I hope it's still out there somewhere creaking and looking foine."

You could put the registration number in to the .gov mot checker. See if that tells you when it last passed its mot.

Surely 13-year-old Sooz deserves her future self stalking her own first car.

I never bring anything and prefer when visitors don't bring stuff/shite to me either.

My partner and her friends seem to relish taking pointless stuff to each other. It's like a constant merry-go-round of tat being shuttled from one location to another. Utter nonsense!

Couldn't agree more. Use the taxes raised and also the funds saved from churning habitual users through the justice system. It seems to be the only thing no-one has tried yet.

Remember when everyone thought George W Bush was the most inappropriate choice for U.S. president? The world would be in a better place if Trump was anywhere near Bush's standard. And that sentence says all that needs to be said about the orange smear.

He's only 60. Hate has aged him badly.

SNP for constituency and ALBA for list. The idea of both votes going to the SNP is absolute nonsense and holds us back. Also, the Greens have too many moon-howler tendencies and serious people don't take them seriously.

Won't somebody please think of the horses!

I gave up totally in 2007. Got bored with the same places, same patter, same pish and decided to see if I could go the whole year without it. At the end of the year I realised how much I didn't miss it.

Stopping completely was the only way to stop hard drinkers try to inveigle me in their benders.

Wee soul. Who benefits from the public sales of fireworks? There's no justification for personal use. There's plenty of evidence pointing to the need for silent fireworks if we need them at all.
