I was working in the Melbourne CBD today and I was absolutely appaled by the violent mobs of racists attacking everyday people. The manager of my office is Sri Lankan and was fearing for his life. Shame on the abc for not calling this what it is - a violent racist mob @abcnewsbot.bsky.social #auspol

Reminder: we are being trained not to care about other people. It underlines the attacks on migrants, on DEI, on trans youth, on so-called "wokeness."

Sure there are legitimate critiques but this is not about critiques. It's about supercharging capitalism's culture of uncare.

Yesterday Albo mocked the Greens for their billionaire tax. Simultaneously, Labor secretly made a deal with their "enemies" on the right, to rush thru political donation reform, to make it harder for the independents. The major parties are TERRIFIED of voters finally having quality choices.

This is extraordinary.

After rushing electoral reforms through the Senate last night, Labor & the Liberals have teamed again this morning to gag debate.

This is the political duopoly at work. Silencing the entire crossbench to protect their power.

They haven't learnt a thing.
