You lack creativity if you cannot see how AI can be useful for small teams and single game developers for making games. For coding especially, and there are models for specific art styles like pixel art too.

You did directly tell people to stop using AI at all, and I took issue with that. How you respond to it is up to you.

In Finland, 2023 ai training got an exception from copyright due to text and data mining exception on EU Directive on Copyright in the Digital Single Market (Directive 2019/790)

For what it is worth, the style of the art is consistent with the developer's other two games from 2017 and 2022 (first image). Could not find anything concrete one way or other either, tho the press kit for the game has a high quality version of the image that can help.

Also AI videos are not a good example. No-one can make them look good due to the limits of the current models, and because there is no way to fix the mistakes other than trial and error. Only recently we got some models that allow setting up camera movement for example. (something called higgsfield)

For AI art to be art it does need to be human made, by following 3 rules:

Artist first: Make AI art creation a process. Apply your experience to make it your own.
Concept first: Make it with your own goal/vision in mind. Use AI as a tool.
Uniqueness first: Make something new you've not seen before.
