As the federal gov prepares for a shutdown, OPM has notified agencies to simultaneously draw up reduction in force plans.

Guidance related to that dropped today. Remarkably, OPM has determined that anyone working on a RIF plan would be "excepted" from the shutdown and would still have to work.

NEWS: FAA confirms this AM's @wsj.com report, saying that it will allow "limited delegation" to Boeing to issue its own airworthiness certificates on some 737 MAXs & 787s.

This would be the first time Boeing has done so since in 2019 for the Max and 2022 for the Dreamliner.
