I think it's naive to think it's all one way traffic.
We've had similar this summer with Diaz going to Munich. Apparently not for sale and numerous bids rejected and then he's having a medical 🤷🏻

I'm sure LFC have had convos and been given some indication there's a deal to be done but don't think they're the only ones pushing here. If it's a firm no then no more offers but if its a not yet then that's different and we're all relying on 2nd hand info from a few journos.

I was comparing transfer stance of the clubs, not impact of the players, though it is a disservice not to say Diaz had a pretty decent impact on LFC during his time at the club.

True! We had it with Virgil a few years ago (good on Forest for calling out Spurs). Feel like the agents using ITKs and the media to make everything difficult and then just sit back while we (the fans) just don't know what to believe and Sky make everything a breaking news story.

It's mad how clubs tend to be at fault for stuff like this. Like I don't get how apparently personal terms can be agreed before clubs are even talking (like Spurs and Gibbs-White). Surely NUFC are saying to LFC no so they aren't bidding but are ready to bid if NUFC are looking to sell.

I know mate, that whole channel is built on clickbait. It's a worrying trend where 'fan sites' used to just be fans having a chat to how sensational can we be to get more clicks (and I know we've got a few as well who are so bad)
