Science cafe programs are so cool. Last night, we learned about our state crime lab firearm forensics team and all the high-tech science they use in their work. This is a 3D scan of two casings showing how they match up markings.

Teenage Will would be losing his mind in these photos. Last night, I got to MC with Dr. Richard Marks at the Carolina Science Cafe about his career in spatial intelligence and AI. Having spent many years in the Playstation R&D Magic Lab and myself as a lifelong Playstation player, I was thrilled.

This is your reminder to go visit your local science museum. They are doing cool stuff and we need to support them now more than ever. This is Morehead Planetarium and Science Center in Chapel Hill, NC where I have worked for the past 2 years. Highly recommend visiting!

A survey from the Southeastern Environmental Education Alliance has found that a total of 66% of educators are teaching about climate science, and of those, 50% are spending less than 10 hours per year on this topic. Most educators do not feel confident teaching this topic.
