The Holy City of Rab
Ironically given that it was my most successful piece on Cara, I wasn't particularly happy with my first attempt at this scene. So second try.
As for the snow, in my defence, it was still winterish when I started this #artwork several weeks ago!

The Return of the Nightmare Storm
I went all around the houses (twice) with the colour scheme on this one. Still not entirely satisfied with the lighting, but at some point you have to walk away. May tweak after a break from it.

It's a kind of gothic His Dark Materials meets the novels of Dan Brown (or, if you prefer, Umberto Eco), with a bit of Aliette de Bodard's House of Shattered Wings thrown in.
