Gorgeous! We lived on Walenburgerplein which was a very modern area apart from the church next door. The old pockets scattered around Rotters were/are beautiful.

I have fond memories of that area and the pretty Oude Haven behind the Cube Houses. Enjoy that blue sky while it lasts! 😀

Yes, absolutely! My wife thinks it’s absurd how I name winds based on the cardinal direction of their origin. I naturally (or habitually) view the world through this lens. For me it has something to do with maintaining perspective. Can be disconcerting in a new location while I get my bearings.

This is so ludicrous it’s laughable. But the consequences won’t be.
