Another #IndieAnimationDay already? I'm pleased to report that I've completely finished my animatic for Act I of the #Minitaur pilot and am now making sets, props, and shots! If you're an animator or especially a voice actor please follow along as I may need help there soon!

All this 3d modeling and rigging has been great but sometimes it's great to just get back to some good ol' sketchy 2D thumbnail boards while you're plotting things out.

I'm finally in full production on Minitaur! A fantasy / comedy action adventure starring the tiniest minotaur, who is officially getting a full length pilot!

Rigs are coming along nicely! I am definitely not used to tails and digitigrade legs but got some IK versions going that I'm happy with and think are going to be very easy to animate!

Simple hair rig! I don't want it to add secondary action dynamically but I still like having a little automatic gravity that I can adjust as I see fit.

Alright, nap time's over! I have officially rolled off of my retakes gig over at Shadowmachine which is very bittersweet. If anyone has leads on animation / retakes work, I would appreciate it! In the meantime, it's time to get back to workin' on my own stuff! Wake up, Fred, you've got a job to do!!

First time playing with an anisotropic shader in Blender. Definitely a really messy application on my part but super pleased with how it came out in a really low poly situation. #b3d

Time to touch some grass! Been pretty pleased with my experiments in #b3d so far! Definitely not perfect but I can see a lot of potential in Blender.

A little late for the new year, but just in time for #PortfolioDay! TheGreatNorth is back on the air and I am finished with my as-yet-still-secret A24 gig, so I am back looking for work! Managed to get through a challenging year okay, let's see if we can do it again!
