sometimes life is hard and you don't see the point of keeping going. I feel like that with an academic job in special education rn. But... then your students remind you exactly why. It's for them. i still need to make sure they are wonderful at teaching reading to students with disabilities.

Today my students worked on deciding a good letter sequence for teaching runes. They looked at shapes, sounds, and names. There were some excellent conversations!

Fun fact. I can't spell disabilities or university correctly 95% of the time (p<.001). My favorite things about Bsky is that you can use any UI you want! On my desktop I use @skeetdeck.bsky.social. It let's you see multiple feeds on one screen (see pic) 3/5

Helmets save lives! So grateful for this helmet for making sure I keep the husband around a bit longer. He’s bruised and had a collar bone fracture, but he’s alive.
