They are not just names on a wall or boots left behind. They were sons, daughters, fathers, mothers, brothers, sisters, they were heroes. And they carried a burden that few can understand and fewer still can bear. But they did it without asking for glory or reward, because that’s what soldiers do.

Leadership in the Army is not just about giving orders, it’s about taking responsibility, It’s about walking point when the path is unclear, carrying the burden so others don’t have to, and making decisions that may never be understood outside the battlefield.
