But that was 7 years ago. Now, a search turns up lots of details about both, including that Zorich was one of Catherine the Great's lovers, and Zambeccari was a hot-air-balloon pioneer who died in an 1812 accident. Huh! (to be fair, Zorich is in Massie's biography of Catherine, I just overlooked it)

The value of asynchronous online education will also go to zero. How can anyone be sure that credits earned that way demonstrate any real education when they can be completed by LLMs?

theory says we will asymptotically approach the point where the cycle time is zero, and then either the universe self-destructs or Donald Trump has a moment of self awareness and I'm not sure which is less likely

The cycles are accelerating. Putin demands total victory, Trump tries to give it to him, Ukraine+EU say no, Putin won’t accept less, Trump gets mad and talks about sanctions or weapons, Putin makes a phone call and meets with him, then it all starts over. Faster each time.
Preparations for the Trump-Putin meeting in Budapest have been temporarily suspended.
