Cobb County parents have the right to be heard when it comes to the education of their children. The Cobb School Board decided in a 4 to 3 vote to stop broadcasting public comments made at school board meetings. That is why I and other legislators are speaking out. #supportcobbparents.

I'm thrilled to share that my legislation to eliminate the annual car "birthday tax" (HB 429) passed the Georgia House unanimously! 🎉

Right now, vehicles purchased before 2013 are taxed every year, while newer car owners don’t pay this tax. That’s just not right.

The new annual assessment notice for homeowners. As a result of Georgia HB 581 passed last year, you will no longer see estimated taxes on your notice.

I will be filing legislation tomorrow to require the estimated taxes stay. Homeowners should know before they have to pay their bill.
