The problem appears to be determining whether or not an order is legal. Who in the chain of command has the right to decide if an order is legal? Only those at the top of the chain reserve that right! That would be the Pentagon, which follows the US Constitution, not the pleasure of a Rogue POTUS!

I agree with Buttigieg, but only to a point. Both enlisted men & officers are expected to follow orders from their superiors & assume the orders are legitimate. They don't have the luxury to determine whether they're legitimate. Only in very extreme cases should they consider disobeying an order!

The problem is…there are a ton of laws being broken everyday, by ICE, DOJ, Noem, by the damned WH occupant…and not a damned thing is being done about it.
