Tying knots is meditation. The satisfaction of getting one knot “right” is beautiful. This one is going to be a trellis net, plants will climb and will harvest.

Feeling slightly guilty for flying - but this 1 1/2 flight saved us from driving 14 hours. The sunrise was super beautiful as well.

This weeks coffee bag art. Roasting coffee for you, me and “The Road Ahead”. ☕️
New coffee beans have arrived, Guatemala Huehuetenango Boqueroncito - now I must measure the beans. Then calculate: the average surface area for this bean is 136.6 mm2 and a moderate bulk 683 g/L. Very much looking forward to profiling and brewing this one. #coffeebean

This week’s roasters choice selection is a Kenya Pea berry. At the full city roast level the coffee has lovely floral notes and body. I’m not sure if I’m more excited about the coffee or the prints on the shipping boxes. It’s the small things that really bring the joy for me. #wileypiecoffee #coffee

Listening to records when I roast coffee is a beautiful thing. Each roast has its own coffee bag screen print. It’s excessive to create so many different screens for my coffee bags but I love it. #coffee #AddCoffeePro
