What I carved today in pottery class. I hope the texture will do interesting things with the glaze on the first, but I may have to go with underglaze on the mushroom mug to keep enough detail.

Woodward Bay with Rose today. The old tracks had a zillion blue herons in it. We saw otters playing in the water but didn't catch a picture.

A separate post for the Seattle art museum. There was an exhibit for Joyce J Scott, a beads and multimedia artist. Her work has a lot of social justice commentary that was pretty powerful. Plus the museum had a large northwest Indian collection.
