Some fantastic shapes made by white tailed eagles on our photographers trip from Tobermory yesterday. Just wonderful.

White Tailed Eagle lunch

This is the female of one of the pairs we visit on our trips. She was satellite tagged as a chick and dubbed 'yellow 2'. She still has the stubs on the inside of her wings. She is an enormous eagle, I think she is certainly the biggest that we see. Beautiful bird.

This is one of my favourite images of 2024. He is a White Tailed Eagle resident on Mull right on the Sound. He is 16 years old and half of a very successful pair of White Tails who fledged 2 chicks last year. Such a privilege to be with them every few days

Ok, this isn't a typical #foxoftheday but it does involve a fox in a very wild environment. This is a Golden Ealge being faced up to by 2 mature stags with a fox creeping by in the top left of the shot. I think it's pretty cool. Morvern, Scotland.

New to BlueSky, so I hope I'm doing it right! A couple of otter shots from a tour a few days ago. Great weather and the 4 otters foraging on the shore for 4+ hours.
