They lost my recent send. Photo is deliberately obscure, and definitely not at the address it was sent to. Yet they're saying I have to sign a legal statement confirming it's lost, since it's marked as delivered. Wild.

There's a lot of covid going round locally. We had it 5 weeks ago. Seems highly contagious (before symptoms appear). Freezing shakes, nausea and loss of appetite, and needing to sleep loads.

University timetables aren't organised by lecturers. Wouldn't be possible. Massively complex job. It used to be done by full-time salaried professional staff (this was one of my partners jobs in the past). Mostly now organised by a computing package, hence bonkers 8 hrs back to back shannanigans.

Great in the original French version, sung by Charles Aznavour, though.

That definitely needs to be a scene in the film, when it's made.

The document URL (only the month was changed from the previous one) is definitely on par with the Louvre security password being LOUVRE. Both made me laugh.

This is marvellous! 4 in my northern city, only one of which is in a residential area. The other 3 are in the shopping centre, so not single residences.

I've found people asked for an opinion feel obliged to suggest changes. Otherwise it feels like they're not being helpful. Nightmare

My concern is mainly about the energy and water this technology uses, in the face of major world issues. Everything else feels like fiddling as Rome burns. Maybe I'm overreacting. www.france24.com/en/middle-ea...

I was surprised that someone thought they could trade mark a word that essentially means vegetables. Pretty ludicrous.
November 2, 2025 at 11:07 AM
Mostly in tune, though...

I've no doubt that the BBC has been briefed by "the palace" before reporting on this...

The latest news was published in the last 5 minutes, so I would think it's a new development

And someone really did write in with that letter. Satirical perfection.
