Starting this week contractors are delivering access improvements at Wyming Brook Nature Reserve, including more accessible pedestrian entrances and 50 new steps at the bottom end of the Wyming Brook trail.

Trails may be restricted during works. Please follow signs and thank you for your patience.

If you are visiting Wyming Brook to see the glorious autumn colours please be aware that there will be some works going on between now and 3rd November.
We'll be keeping all the routes open but please take extra care and follow any signage on site.

The first recorded wasp spider in this part of Yorkshire!
This non-native spider is slowly moving north with climate change. It’s eating a Roesel’s bush cricket, a native species which is also a recent arrival this far north.
