It's World Wildlife Day - celebrating the more-than-human world.

#WorldWildlifeDay is celebrated every year on 3 March to celebrate wild animals and plants. Today, we recognize that wolves play a key role in balancing our ecosystem, as most extensively recorded in Yellowstone National Park after reintroduction.

"The soundscape allows us a different point of engagement with the crises we face..listening to the more-than-human voices and the human voices that are being silenced. Listening then becomes an act of defiance and allows us to understand the processes shaping Earth."

We are being called to wake up and rise up.

What’s happening in the United States reminds me of the rape of innocent, oblivious Persephone by brutal Hades, also known as Pluto, God of hidden wealth. His name shows up in the word plutocracy. Time to wake up to how things really are and, like P, toughen up and take charge.

Nature to me is psychology. Because most collective societal pathology, in my opinion, stems from or is exacerbated by our disconnection from nature.
