the first book I personally finished reading in 2025 is Ali Smith's GLIFF, a book for grown ups which comes out in it U.S. in February. it’s so good it has ruined other books for me for the last few days

the first book bought in 2025 was National Geographic’s Puzzle Book of the Ocean. in Minnesota, we are big fans of water: lakes, rivers, oceans, glasses of, etc.

sometimes when water freezes we even play in/on/around it. love that stuff
