Hello! I'm sure it'll be like shouting to the wind for a while here, since I'm new, but here goes. I'm Madison Woods, artist. I paint nature scenes with handmade paints that I make from local rocks, soot from the fireplace, & a couple of plants. #art

Yellow washed pigment settling and soot already washed and ready for making some really messy paint 😃 I use local pigment for making most of my colors. White and blue are outsourced.

The last of this year’s garden. Nothing did well this year but I am happy to keep trying 😂 I started a worm bin so maybe that’s going to help next season.

It was a beautiful drive down our dirt road this morning on my way to the office. I had to stop for a photo or three. Here's my favorite one of the bunch.
