Who’s hungry? These babies are formula fed 5x a day. Did you know that from birth until they are weaned, a squirrel in rehab needs to be syringe fed over 400 times? No wonder rehabbers are always tired 😴

Thank you Mrs Brooke for looking out for this little guy! When this baby squirrel wandered onto the elementary school playground and climbed on her shoe, Mrs Brooke contacted us. If you see a squirrel acting overly friendly, following you around, or trying to climb on you it probably needs help.

If you spot a raccoon out & about during daylight hours, don't jump to conclusions. Especially in spring and summer, it's most likely just a hardworking momma raccoon on a round-the-clock food hunt to feed her babies. 🍼👶

If she's acting normal, let her do her thing and give her the space she needs.
