New pier in Bellingham was crowded this weekend. It would have been better it they had made it as wide as the White Rock pier....but they were building on an existing structure, so I guess they were limited.

Love it. I have also been taking videos of creeks this spring.

Poor deer. Must be hungry. He took a head of lettuce right out of my hand. I think this is the one I spotted with a broken antler last fall. He had a scar on his head, back and a crooked lower jaw

Happy Imbolc all. #witchsky #imbolc

Feeling this right now.

"We must welcome the world in as it is, valuing every strange, broken scrap of it."

Quote from "A Spell in the Wild: A Year (and six centuries) of Magic" by Alice Tarbuck.

My husband works in a well known US retail chain that was bought out by a Chinese company after a bankruptcy sale. Yesterday he received instructions to increase the prices on every product in the store by 10%.

This sunset holds hope: vibrant orange for passion and transformation, lavender for calm and intuition. In times of chaos, stay grounded. Change is hard, but it’s also a path to renewal. Trust your instincts, hold onto hope, and remember—small actions lead to brighter days. #witchsky #augury

One thing that evil cannot stop with an executive order. The March of time and the cycles of nature. A snowdrop is a sign of returning life, and new beginnings. Brighid sends us these signs at Imbolc to get through the last brutal days of winter. #witchsky

I haven't drawn a gratitude card for a little while because I've been so sick. But I figured today would be a good day for some gratitude. #witchsky #cardpull

Current read. Not super deep but a nice spread of different tree related folklore. Perfect way to pass a flu recovery day. #witchsky

Took a walk today and took this as a sign of hope.

Yes. But the ones that hang out in my yard look like deer poop.

As winter weakens, the vernal witch hazel blooms, beating back the gloom with its bright starburst flowers, a promise of the sun's return and brighter days to come. Let this beacon guide you from the huddled darkness with the promise of transformation. 🌟🌱 #WitchSky #greenmagic #naturemagic

The sacred cycles of life unfold even in winter’s stillness. The pomegranate, a symbol of resilience and abundance, whispers of renewal and rebirth. May this tree’s green shoots bring us light, healing, and the blessings of the fertile earth. 🌿✨ #WitchSky #pomegranatemagic

Spring is near. Even tho we have a small cold snap coming, snowdrops and primrose don't mind.

Current read. It's not the smoothest read, but definitely an important one. The middle gets really bogged down in minutia. But it picks up again once it gets to the FB stuff.

We had a wonderful wassail celebration, yesterday. A few friends, a few songs, a little noise to wake up our apple tree and the land, and gifts for the spirits of toast and cider. The celebration was a successful ritual of returning. Many birds have visited today. #washingtonwitches #witchsky

I have some radishes, peas and bok choi that self seeded and sprouted before the winter set in. Feverfew, nasturtium, calendula all still blooming. Still picking a few alpine strawberries. LOL. One hard snow will wipe most of them out tho. I keep meaning to put up a tunnel.

My snowdrops are already poking out. (Middle are green onions. Outer circle are snow drops)

My solstice altar is a bit more finished. A little pieces of mirror to amplify the light, a Brighid dolly, and a goddess statue with wormwood and the dish filled with water to represent Morana and her ever flowing waters of time. #witchsky #wecowitchsky
