The number of comedies I've watched where I feel myself going "This could be funny but it has been so badly edited" - the margins are so, so fine. The endless budget cuts must make it so much harder these days - as you say, a drama can get away with it but comedy lives and dies on timing.

FIFA 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014 plus FIFA World Championship, 2002 World Cup, Project FIFA World Cup, FIFA Total Football, FIFA Total Football 2, FIFA Street, UEFA 2004 and FIFA World Cup 2006 all came out on the PS2.

Boots really used to do it all. You needed to go into town to pick up critical medication but you also wanted the latest video game or album? Plus you had photos to be developed, needed a new pram for the baby and wanted some Sushi for lunch? Boy, did they have the shop you.

My first album is going to be called Debut, second one will be called Difficult, third one is Experimental, fourth one will be Return to Form then it’ll be 10 years until I release Long Awaited. Stupid, yes, but is it really any stupider than what Ed Sheeran has done?

Corporations have a vested interest in collapsing confidence in governments and they’re now actively pushing for that interest. Left wing, right wing, who cares - if there’s a public who doesn’t believe Government works then you, as a corporation, can do what you like.

Since when has America ever held anyone to account? Brazil just sent a former President to jail, ditto France. What’s the nearest American equivalent? You could have 100 Dem senators and they’d still tell a Democratic President that no further action is necessary.

I’m sure the three days he spent in prison taught him a lesson. Thank god for American politicians who took this man who slaughtered at least a hundred civilians and declared a scapegoat and declared a day in his honour (Jimmy Carter) or commuted his sentence (Nixon). No accountability is coming.

Surely the bleak bit is trying to get literally millions of people to burn through the environmental resources by using AI rather than saying “Here, watch these ten episodes which are key to the plot”?

The trouble with soul crushingly stupid people like him is that there is never any follow through. He could be convinced, utterly, that Trump lied about the 2020 election result but it would not affect one single other belief in his head. There is no “if he is lying about this, what else?”
