Has anyone else had a glut of apples & pears this year? Grateful if anyone could help ID the pears I have. I was told maybe Comice. They turn slightly yellow when ripe (like top left in bowl) & are sweet, not too grainy. Great just for eating. 🍏🍐 #gardening #homegrown

Last year’s that didn’t do much and I forgot all about them. Just pulled as were bolting. Trimmed & taste great. Pepsi can for size.

Is it just me, or is the over-interpretation of rules a bit annoying.
Handling the ball outside the box, in potential goal scoring opportunity = 🟥 card.
Taking a man down in the box, no touch on the ball (even if a bit soft) = penalty 🥅 (I know it was given)

Just look at how much they've grown! 😍
At birth our fennec fox kits weighed just 46 grams, and are now nearly 10 times that amount each. The little boy and two girls are doing really well under our keepers' care, displaying lots of great natural fox behaviours and even beginning to eat solid foods.

I mean, the Liberals came out to snaffle victory (if not quite a majority) from like 20 points behind, so I'm not quite sure the grudging "but only just" is entirely apposite. It's a stonking win.
