It was a first taste of winter in the Scottish Highlands last weekend and conditions were pretty near perfect on a hike in the Monadh Liath range of hills.

Great conditions for the 106km Isle of Wight Ultra last weekend. The first half of the race mostly involved running along the cliffs and beaches and was particularly enjoyable. As darkness fell a route through woodland filled with wild garlic was very memorable, as was the clear night sky.
