Loved that book! It was my introduction to N.K. Jemisin and she’s been a must read ever since.

It was the first book that I had to read in school that I really liked and thought was fantastic. I actually reread it last year when my daughter had to read it for her English class and still enjoyed it very much. Kept my copy of it for all these years even when I mostly switched to digital books.
