Husband, father, grandfather, painter in oil, historically aware, cynic. Getting lefter as I get older. If followed will follow back, but no DMs, please.
The audio version of Ebert's autobiography "Life Itself" by Edward Herrmaann is just fantastic. A moving but unsparing self examination read by the perfect narrator.

The left has been talking about this since the Powell Memo. That, and the destructive influence of Koch Bros, right wing talk radio and the Heritage Foundation but were ignored and ghettoized by centrist dems for decades.

And on the very day Mamdani was visiting the Prez. Coincidence? I think not, which makes it even more tone deaf than it already was.

That also went for 47's first VP, Mike Pence.

Ghislaine pleads the filth.

MTG's retirement date is 2 days after she's eligible for her congressional pension. This is one of the many points in AOC's scathing post mortem on her tenure.

Both Epstein and Putin have radioactive dirt on 47. Epstein "died", and I'm sure 47 wishes the same for the latter. The events of the last week have made 47 weaker, Putin's compromat on 47 that much more toxic. Putin is making his move while this leverage is still available to him.

"Liberal" networks like CNN & MSNBC have just become lifeboat for embarrassed conservatives like Michael Steel, Nicole Wallace, and the Bulwark folks as well as a meal ticket for ex GOP hatchet men like Rick Wilson. (If curious Google "Rick Wilson and Max Cleland")

It would be something if the Epstein files released by Trump are duplicates of those released by the JE estate. If the WH versions are released redacted it would be beyond interesting to see what they thought too incriminating to leave in.

If the democrats regain power they should make anyone in this administration who has been using government jets for personal business pay for this abuse of taxpayer dollars. For some the bill will be astronomical.

Mike Johnson looks like he was pulled out of 70s anti drug movie set in the 'burbs, where he was the clean cut kid who was in reality the town pusher.

A life of a repo man is always intense!

If you have wealth and power and you're not smart or savvy it probably means your born to it. Another argument for an aggressive inheritance tax.

Or anyone else, for that matter. Nothing justifies pedophilia.

That is why whenever someone talks about 47 the have to tie the GOP onto him like a tick on a dog. He'll be gone someday, and these weasels can't be allowed to skate by.

Yes! He's my rep. I contributed to his campaign last time and will again this cycle.
November 8, 2025 at 11:47 PM
We had a Stefanik-lite congressman, Brandon Williams, in our district, which is right next to hers. He was one of the few (maybe the only) GOPers not to win reelection in 2024. Not a good omen for her.

Funny how the GOP celebrates when they take people's health care away. 47 with his Gatsby party today, Paul Ryan and his congressional beer party after voting to end the ACA in 2017.

This is the photo of the year. Iconic.
November 8, 2025 at 12:55 AM
So, where was she from 2016-2020?

As an upstate, but not New York City resident, I think I still have the right to tell Tuberville to fuck right off.

Tactically brilliant, strategically, not so much. Straightarmed progressives (where the energy & ideas are) for decades. Thought a 70+ yr old man w cancer was a better than AOC for committee chair, dismissed green new deal as "the green dream, or something,"
