PNW witch of the woods. Former Disney Cast Member. Solar storer, moisture farmer, dirt mover, warden of the woods, gardener, animal lover.
I'd be interested in getting one for my Sis-in-Law. We both had rats as kids.

We're retired Navy. We drove from San Diego to D.C. in three days - two drivers, four pets, with six stops a day for food, stretches, and potty breaks - for a duty station change. And then did it with three people, two cars, and four pets back to WA three years later. Solidarity, sir.

I apologize to my cat, who was on my lap, when I suddenly gaffawed at this beautifully described scenario.

The highlight/shadow play is nearly photorealistic (is that even a word?) What medium(s) are you using?

The second book is a different tone/cast and took me a little longer to invest. Husband was dissatisfied, but we may continue the series at least one more deep. He really loved the crew and ship dynamic from the first one.

"And the food! They have lobsters the size of a child... or a small woman." (If anyone gets this movie quote, we can be friends, like, for sure, for sure.)

My Black Krim did that last year! Cat-faced is the common term for that phenomenon. Beware the walls where they all join, it was tough and inedible. The rest of the fruit was great.

The best flight I was ever on was a Continental Airlines (RIP) flight from Hawaii to Guam (with a layover in Japan). There were so few of us on the second leg that the attendants let us all grab our own rows, which were three seaters. Best airplane nap ever. I recall the food was pretty good too.

I actually enjoy a good hot n ready pizza pizza. I'd rather eat Little Ceasars than thin cracker crust "pizza" any day.

My husband and I reference this one at least once a month. "Hon, I might be rustling instead of moseying. "Are you standing next to a cow?"

Hello, I'm just a Marlon Rando on here, but I got the Ace pilot joke. And, I agree with the sentiment of writing explicit sexual scenes should serve the story in some way beyond the demand for gratuitous scenes.

My husband is heading into his dentist this afternoon to also have some crown work done. Solidarity. Hopefully, they'll be gentle...

Hell yeah. I bought my own 19 acres of forest to be its steward and provide safe spaces for our animal friends. Tree hugging, nature worshipping, pot smoking, hippie ass witches unite!!

Our property is dubbed SKR, Shadow Keep Retreat. We're retired (for now?) and thought ranch sounded too industrious. 😁

My gosh. The money I would pay to just sit, observe, and have snacks while you and John regale us with stories and anecdotes.. sadly, I live way over in Mason County, Washington. I hope your tour goes smoothly.

I was confused too, because my husband used to take day trips up to Steven's Pass, and if it was impromptu enough, he would ski in his jeans. I thought it sounded dumb and he replied "If you don't fall, you don't get wet and cold." Which made sense for him.

We're on an EG4 system out here in Western Washington. We used a company called Signature Solar, out of Texas. Amazing customer service, even when we had a crazy catastrophic inverter failure last summer.
