Oof 🫠 yeah see… this is the thing that unfortunately makes me less likely to work with them in the future. Accountability in the workplace matters to me. Don’t just drop the ball after I leave! Especially if you’re taking my precious time to train you all 😣

Congratulations Ben! 👏🏾👏🏾✨

You’re in good company! Creative Entrepreneur & Notion Consultant

And my favorite color is teal… but my favorite green is matcha 🍵😎😂

That’s what really made this post stand out to me haha

I saw the ravioli! That was incredibly impressive 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

I can only imagine along with the permaculture ingredients how fresh the food was!

BUT I know that it’s a road less traveled, and that I would be asking a lot for end users, but I do still advocate from devs for a balance of incredibly thoughtful ease of use while retaining some meaningful level of composability/portability/power for the end users when they’re ready for it.

Welll said. Yeah I agree. I think about this a lot across many domains, and it was a lesson that translated for me after reading “Coddling of the American Mind” by Jonathan Haidt. Different reference/subject, but feels inherently relevant as it pertains to ppl being coddled in tech. So I push back.

The cuteness of the turquoise skull is befitting of the H1 lol

Sometimes I think devs coddle the end user too much lol

Rightfully so, as I know ease of use impacts the bottom line/MRR…yet if we’re always waiting for the devs to make a thing easier for those without tech savvy… then it’ll just play out as the race to the bottom that it is; AI taking the jobs.

1000% agree. I embarked upon this same effort last year, training a nonprofit with a staff of 25; migrating them from Monday to Notion

I heavily emphasized that any platform they choose will not work for them, if they don’t work with it.

I was there for a whole two months.

TLDR: It didn’t stick.

Okay so we’re ✌🏾👀 here then 😂 this is a lot closer to my experience 😮‍💨

You feel me 😂 I’d settle for an easy bake oven at this point

True indeed!

I gotta overcome some serious entropy to get like you 🥲👏🏾 ya doin good.
November 12, 2024 at 3:22 PM
lol ah I gotcha. Yeah that’s fair!

…to be honest I have also been failing to make even quick things at home 🙃

🫨 2 YEARS?!?!

I thought I was away from it too long, but I stand corrected lol.

Is it mainly just because you found it easier to dine out? Or have you taken advantage of one of those meal prep companies?
November 11, 2024 at 11:07 PM
😂 that’s actually clutch. Freeze & eat across the month, you’re gonna be just fine! 😆
