The way you draw overweight characters makes them look cuddly and soft, and they can still look strong within your art style too. Rather than just turning them into fat balloons or squishy and grotesque like a lot of artists seem to.

I feel like doing a bird of prey front first could give a cool gryphon look in the middle of the transformation.
Alternatively doing a silly puff of smoke before revealing an adorable borb would be pretty great as well.
