Thrilled beyond thrilled to have a story in here, “A Season of Reflection.” Coming in fall of 2026.
Silent me means a busy me, but here's an update on a not-so-silent project, SILENT NIGHTMARES, co-edited with Chuck Palahniuk for Saga Press, an imprint of Simon & Schuster. This incredible anthology will include illustrations by @orionzangaraart.bsky.social, so here's a teaser.

The internet is so broken example #326: I queried good farewell party ideas and the top results suggested an art class or brewery tour or dance class or responses better suited to “activities to do with coworkers that don’t involve chatting at happy hour” and not at all suitable for a farewell.

Listening to my daughter sing at her third grade choir showcase and I can’t help but hope that when Beyoncé was a 3rd grader, she couldn’t be bothered to sing the notes the other kids sang either. Some kids sing the hits, while others make the hits. Right?

I remember when I was the only one I knew using foursquare, but it was because this Indian/Mexican fusion place that made naan burritos filled with chipotle paneer offered a buy one get one deal when you checked in to the app, and then one day, the shop said no more! So, I quit using that app.
