Yes that's fine. It's been good talking with you as well.

Thank you for the offer, but at present my budget has no wriggle room and I have very little left over at the end of my pay fortnight. I need to save for household repairs and with the silly season over December and January soon upon us money's going to tight.

It was a full cover design by DeLuna and I was charged $300. I have no arguement over the quality of the artwork, but she was very persistent over asking what else I was working on to the point where I had to tell her to back off. She ended up getting her account here deleted. Don't know the reason

Reading and creating your own moving pictures in your head with your own imagination doesn't seem to be much of a thing anymore. Or am I being a cynical old lady here? I did commision a cover for one of my books which with the US exchange rate was very expensive so I won't be doing that again.

Excuse me smiling, but the one thing I can't do is draw anything. That gift passed me by. I know what all my characters look like, but draw them no.

The answer to keeping a book intact is to have several back up copies archived away. Also I tend to have a good memory when it comes to characters I've created. There was barely such a thing as the internet when I started writing so I guess I have a different view on things.

I wrote 'The Book of Ashes' back in 2011, picked it up as a 2nd draft in 2022. Forgot about it after catching COVID and I've only just returned to working on it last month. No it's not my first book. I have older m/s from the 1990s waiting for me. 'Belling the Cat' is published on KOBO and itch.

Congratulations, but I think you have just put me off pumpkins forever.
