Our local birds are incredibly vocal in anticipation. I'm currently hearing Rufous Whistlers, Grey Fantails, Spotted and Striated Pardalotes, Magpie-Larks, Little Ravens amongst others that I can't quite ID. I love our home's soundtrack. One raven did start a 4 month terror campaign 12 months ago.

Vile and disgusting doesn't cover it. We're not evolving as a species, sadly. Sorry that you had to cop such rubbish.

I wonder if he/the Bad Seeds play any of these songs live anymore. Have great memories of when they did.

I noticed you called it ‘parm’. Major fights can break out in Australia depending on whether you call them Parma or Parmi. :)

Hi. I'm curious about the feather on the left. Looks like a feather from one of our Tawny Frogmouths.

The device isn't perfect, but I'm happy with mine overall. And I think that the AI will improve detections over time.

The biggest piece of advice I can give is to email Tim @ Birdweather - he has been very responsive and helpful for me.

I used to visit these birds in and around Banyule Flats a decade ago. Good to see that they're still around.
